At the age of five I'd become what I become. And when I die, I become The Color Of My Soul. And when I go to sleep, I become what I have dreamed. And if I go to too far, I become exactly where you are. I didn't know defeat. I didn't know defeat before you. I washed my hands and feet before you come to take my soul. At the age of nine, I become what I become. And when I die, I become The Color Of My Soul. And when I go to sleep, I become what I have dreamed. And if I go to too far, I become exactly where you are. I didn't know defeat. I didn't know defeat before you. I washed my hands and feet before you come to take my soul. At thirty-five, I'd become what I become. And when I die, I become The Color Of My Soul. And when I go to sleep, I become what I have dreamed. And if I go to too far, I become exactly where you are. I didn't know defeat. I didn't know defeat before you. I washed my hands and feet before you come to take my soul.

Monotony 02:44
Every day feels stressed out. Wait to get paid Then give it all out. Every day feels stressed out. Wait to get paid. Then give it all out. Every day feels the same. Monotony. Monotony. Every day feels the same. Monotony. Monotony.

When I close my eyes I see the million different lives I've lived before. And even though I know some day I'll die, I can't stop looking for something more. And when the day, it finally comes, I know that I cannot be found looking at the ground. It's the Dark Side Of The Sun. And when I see those million different lives, my heart starts beating in my mind. It's like it's telling me to try, but I can't try more to survive. I peter on. I'll get it right. I guess that there's nothing that can be done. And when the day, it finally comes, I know that I cannot be found looking at the ground, It's the Dark Side Of The Sun. The heat is on, I feel the warmth. I can't stop searching for the door. I feed, I run, I love, I'm done. I can't stop looking at the sun. And when the time, it finally comes, I know that I cannot be found looking at the ground,. It's the Dark Side Of The Sun.

Cosmogonic 04:36
It's so cosmogonic. I know that's kind of rad. It's so cosmogonic and it's not kind or fair. I can hear the thunder and the lightning crash. And I've gotta feeling that's it's gonna last. I'm so kamikaze. Another plane to crash. I can see the forest- now I can see the grass. It's so cosmogonic. And now it's coming fast. And I gotta feeling that it's gonna last.

Jared Lincoln, what are you thinkin'? You got the whole room lookin' at you, kid. And are you drinkin'? What are you thinkin'? You got the whole world lookin' at you, kid. When you get to drinkin' then you get to thinkin' about the good times and the bad times. Then you get to talkin' to knew friends and old friends about the good times and the bad times. (How'd we all get here?)

Move Over Me 03:51
I could say that I know so much. You can't learn everything from a book. Move over me Move over, me. Move over me. You could tell me almost anything. I'd believe it just 'cause it comes from your lips. Move over me Move over, me. Move over me.
8.
Soul Greed 03:17
Give me everything. Hidden up your sleeve. I can't give what I want to keep. Soul Greed. It's heavy. It's heavy down here. So give me room to breathe. I'm feelin' like I need air. So give what's up there. I can't give what I want to keep. Soul Greed.

After a thousand tears you think that I'd move on. After so many years you think I'd find a home. Don't know where I would go to feel like I belong. Don't know how hearts can grow so cold after ego. Give me a second chance. I swear I'll make it last. Give me a moment to explain this all to you. Don't know where I would go to feel like I belong. Don't know how hearts can grow so cold after ego.

I've been thinkin' of me. I've been meanin' to tell ya, baby that I can't hide what I can't find. And it makes me feel weak. Yeah, I feel weak. I've been thinkin' of means. I've been meanin' to tell you, honey about the money that I can't find. And it makes me feel weak. Yeah, and I feel weak. It's so simple and clear. The quarter right behind your ear. It's so simple and clear. I can't help. I can't help it. I'm attracted to disaster. Baby, I can start a fire. I'm attracted to the lighter. Maybe I can start on fire. I'm attracted to disaster. I feel the joy and i feel the pain. I feel everything surround me. I feel the love and I feel the hate. I feel everything around me. I feel it all. I feel everything surround me. I've been thinkin' of me. I've been meanin' to tell ya, baby.

Not long ago you helped me to unwind. Now I'm smilin' all the time. After work maybe we'll get some wine. Growing up and growing old. Only going with the flow. Growing up and growing old. Growing up and growing old. Only going with the flow. Growing up and growing old.

Color Twelve 02:31

about

What started out as a few sessions trying out a minimal recording set-up turned into a full album throughout the years of 2017-2020. I think the album title, "The Color Of My Soul" is a good representation of the different styles, genres, vibes, and sonic quality the album offers. There are some fun and quirky moments, some chill psychedelic tunes, as well as a few rockers and classic JMay style songs. I'm just going to wear this one on my sleeve. Enjoy! -Jordan Mayland
